We encourage members to represent OPRC in league play by participating on one of our many teams.
Charlotte Ladies Interclub Tennis
This clay-court Doubles league is the most popular league in Charlotte. Participants are placed on a team at the appropriate level. Teams compete on Tuesdays and Thursdays during both the spring and fall seasons. Practices are scheduled for alternating days. OP hosts 8 teams with 20-plus players on each team.
Queen City Tennis League
Charlotte's oldest city tennis league (50 years +), it includes leagues for women and men, 18 years or older, who compete in doubles and mixed doubles. Women compete on weekday mornings, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Men compete on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. Mixed doubles play is on Sunday afternoons. League offering is based on Spring/Fall, Summer/Winter format.
USTA League Tennis
USTA League, the country's largest recreational tennis league, has more than 325,000 players nationwide competing in match play, meeting new people and enjoying the camaraderie of teammates in one of the four programs listed below. USTA League also allows you and your teammates to advance from local play to National Championship events.
Play is based on the NTRP rating system, so you will play with and against players of similar ability. There is a spot for you, provided you are age 18 or older. All players participating in USTA League are required to be USTA members.
Charlotte Pro League

Charlotte Pro League helps fulfill the mission of the Charlotte Tennis Association to promote the sport of tennis in the Charlotte community.
Players (target NTRP 5.0 and above) may be drafted onto teams following the registration deadline. Draft results will be announced at a player reveal party. Teams will play weekly matches hosted at Charlotte area tennis facilities. Matches will be scheduled for 7:00 PM Thursday evenings. The format for the Pro League is four doubles matches in the men's division, and two doubles matches in the women's division. Playoffs will follow the regular season matches to determine the Championship team. Players receive prize money/awards based on their team's finish in the playoffs.
